Daniela Elana writes fiction that blends the supernatural with the deeply human. She is the author of the Through the Fire trilogy and the standalone novel Skepticism. Her work explores faith, mystery, endurance, and the quiet resilience of the human spirit.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Biology from the University of Central Missouri. Her two AmeriCorps terms took her from Washington, D.C., to South Texas and the Pacific island of Saipan, where she supported community recovery and disaster response. These experiences continue to shape her understanding of humanity, purpose, and hope.
Daniela has traveled to all 50 U.S. states and explored internationally across Europe, Mexico, Bermuda, and Canada. When she is not writing, she seeks out remote trails, dormant volcanoes, and high summits with her husband. She is an endurance athlete and emerging mountaineer who trains through sustained ascents, long-distance running, and technical climbing in preparation for high-altitude terrain.
She has stood atop Mount Humphreys and Pikes Peak. Her most demanding ascent to date is Cactus to Clouds, a continuous 10,000-foot climb from the desert floor of Palm Springs to the alpine summit of Mount San Jacinto.
Every mountain becomes a narrative of endurance and grace. Every story becomes another way of reaching the heights.
