Don Hayward

Don Hayward grew up at a hydro-electric generating site on the Spanish River, surrounded by the natural world of the Canadian Shield hard rock country. The experience of the north has influenced Don’s feeling for the natural world. Don now lives in Goderich Ontario on the shores of Lake Huron.

Don has published twelve books: He enjoys writing and more projects are in the works. At the moment, he is working on science fiction that extends the theme begun in Steven Spielberg's mini-series, Taken.

Don respects native nations' consideration of stories to tell the history and convey important information. Don hopes his writing honours that and encourages everyone to learn the history and lore of their local aborigines and to contact those communities.
