Johan Hammer

Johan Hammer is a hotel revenue management specialist and data engineer with over 20 years of industry experience. Known for simplifying complex ideas and turning data into actionable insights, he focuses on strategies that drive performance and revenue growth.

He currently leads Revenue Management & Business Intelligence at First Hotels, one of Scandinavia’s largest hotel chains, where he oversees pricing, distribution, and data-driven decision-making.

Johan co-founded Instaroom, a travel tech company enhancing guest communication, and served as its Chief Data Officer. He is also the author of several books, including Revenue Superstar!, This is Revenue Management, and Manage Revenue!.

He holds a certificate in Advanced Hospitality Revenue Management from Cornell University.
