Larry Ehrhorn

I was born in 1947 (post-Revolutionary War) and raised in Chicago and its suburbs, steadily moving west. Attended Northern Illinois University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech/Theatre with an English minor in 1970. Job market pushed me toward high school English teacher, where I spent the next thirty-three years in three small, rural Wisconsin towns, always my desire but not necessarily my preferred location. Quite the contrast from a megalopolis of ten million to towns of six hundred, but I enjoyed my thirty-three years teaching there. Finally moved to Madison, where I still enjoy life with wife Becky and our forty-two years together. Accompanying us was always a dog to help create a gratifying life.

I also authored "Four Months in Brighton Park, which relates my last four months at Wheaton Community High School in 1965 with some altered and entertaining details. Remember your high school senior year? Oh, the stories! I am currently retired and still living in Madison with Becky and simple access (two hours) to son Larry (short of names or not every creative), daughter-in-law Nikki and three grandkids, Madison Allie, and Mason. And, of course, my dog Jack, a border terrier rescued from Houston, Texas.

I have several plots and plans for future books, including a creepy horror story, geared more to psychological terror like Henry James and Shirley Jackson, not Stephen King, but, of course, I do love Stephen King. I love dogs so Cujo would not be in my repertoire. Hope to finish within a year.
