Robert Varnon

A former award winning journalist turned novelist, Robert Varnon lives in Reno, NV with his wife, son and their dog. With a history degree from Middlebury College in 1993 he set off on a chaotic, decades-long adventure to find his role on this planet with stops as an educator, coach, baker, technician and reporter before finding himself as a writer, husband, father and runner. He authored his first book, Potential: A Novel, in 2018. He also writes speculative fiction under the name R.D. Varnon and his first science fiction novel, The Last Disruptor, was released in 2020. He also likes coffee -- lots and lots of coffee.
