True Love Knot: entangled was released on October 14. I am excited to share the King family story tackling the difficult role of a caregiver and how someone can lose all sense of objectivity when caring for the person they love most.

"The Shackle: escape from the knot of restraint", the first book in the Knot Series II, is a 2021 NYC Big Books Distinguished Favorite. It is a continuation of the King family saga but it can be a stand alone novel.

This novel gives an awareness to the horrific crime of human trafficking. It still has an underlying romance but reads like a modern-day action Western.

Overly has published The Knot Series I with The Trinity Knot (2018 NYC Big Book Award Distinguished Favorite), The Zeppelin Bend, and The Hitch ( 2019 NYC Big Book Award Winner). Her emotionally driven stories evoke compassion as she gives a voice to difficult issues that are often unspoken such as sexual assault, unintended pregnancy, depression,and prescription drug addiction. Overly, a graduate of The University of Texas in Austin, uses her experiences as a registered nurse in the critical care setting and applies the lessons she learned from her patients and incorporates them into her literary works.
