Tina Donovan

Tina Donovan’s, M.S.Ed., LPCC, unwavering commitment to bring her divinely inspired story, The Stellar Way, to life spans seventeen years as she has both personally and professionally experienced the need for anger management within our schools and communities. Her interest in anger began during her 8 ½ year involvement with the Juvenile Court System. She noticed that seemingly every child that walked into the Court had a “chip” on their shoulder. Her desire to proactively help children led to her pursuit and completion of her Master’s Degree which resulted in the development of its researched-based research tested curriculum, providing concrete tools and an emotion Icon, Sparky, a superhero, to assist children in regulating their emotions.

Her research was recognized by the Miami Valley Counseling Association and she was awarded the Wray Reiger Scholarship Memorial Award for the counselor with the most potential to make an impact in the counseling field. Her focus on prevention began while employed at United HealthCare, where she developed “Mint Condition,” a wellness program which was nationally recognized by Group Health Association of America for Innovative Answers for America’s Health Care: Best Practices in HMOs. She’s currently a therapist at Ray of Light in Vandalia, Ohio.
