Kathryn Collison

Kathryn Collison was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. She earned her BA in English from the University of New Mexico and her MFA in poetry from Eastern Washington University. She teaches literature and humanities classes in the Honors College at UNM and creative writing classes online at the University of Phoenix. She has also taught poetry workshops in a correctional facility, community college, and high school.

Her work has been published in New Works Review, The Furnace Review, and The Pedestal Magazine. Like Rain Returning Home, published by FutureCycle Press, is her first poetry collection.

She lives in Albuquerque with her husband and their highly energetic five-year-old daughter.
