Nancy Hamilton, president of NH Communications, is the former Communications Director for the Lee County Visitor & Convention Bureau in Fort Myers. Nancy worked with top travel journalists and broadcasters around the globe to develop stories about Fort Myers/Sanibel area. Hamilton has worked in the tourism arena for 30+ years.
She holds a bachelor of arts degree in journalism from Michigan State University and was an award-winning print journalist and editor herself prior to entering into public relations. She also holds the prestigious Accredited Public Relations Professional (APR) designation.
Hamilton has earned many accolades over the years including top honors with two Platinum PR awards from the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International.
Most recently, she is the author of 100 Things to Do in Fort Myers & Sanibel Before You Die, published by Reedy Press. She is a freelance writer/photographer member of the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW) and The International Travel Writers Alliance.
A Detroit native, Nancy enjoys outdoor activities in southwest Florida.
