Jon Knebel

Jon Knebel was born in Milwaukee, WI in 1988 as the second youngest of 6 kids. He was never satisfied with the traditional educational system, though he aced all his tests and quizzes. He almost never did his homework as a means of creating room for personal study and has no regrets about that.

Between then and now, he has had two businesses, been homeless, and made beaucoup dollars as a marketing director in Chicago, but now he lives in Mexico, bikes every day (and sometimes across the entire country), creates travel journalism videos that teach Spanish through Spanglish, and teaches English in a classroom.

His Creolio method of learning languages took him 11 years of research and testing to develop, and involves a deep knowledge of the history of language-learning up to modern methodology while diverging into something completely unique and different.

He hopes to create many more books--including for learning other languages--so that language-learners will be able to involve personal choice in their language-learning experience and have more fun with it.
