Jacob Y. Eom

Jacob Y Eom was born in Korea. He studied at the Westminster Theological Seminary in California and earned Master of Divinity. He was ordained at the Korean American Presbyterian Church. After ordination, he served at the First Presbyterian Church of Orange County for 25 years. During the pastorate, he also served as the 32nd Moderator of the Korean American Presbyterian Church. He named himself as Jacob because he could identify himself with biblical Jacob in many ways. He was greedy, immoral, unworthy of God's grace like Jacob, but still eager to receive God's blessing. Gracious God didn't reject this Jacob either.
