Nancy Huxtable Mohr

Nancy Huxtable Mohr lives in Northern California. She was raised 9th generation on a dairy farm in Upstate New York, and she still owns a home on that land. She graduated from Cornell University, has a California Teacher’s Credential, worked as a teacher, social worker, arts administrator. She taught poetry with California Poets in the Schools and the Redwood City Women’s Jail. She has a lifelong commitment to arts organizations serving underprivileged youths as both an arts administrator and a volunteer. She took Independent Poetry Study with Eavan Boland at Stanford University 2015, is a member of the Community of Writers, and 2024 Bread Loaf Participant. She was shortlisted for the UK Environmental Poetry Prize 2022.

Her work may be found in her book, The Well 2018, and many journals and anthologies.
