Sally Edmondson

Tessa Barrie, is the alter ego of Sally Edmondson, who co-authored Brian Trubshaw - Test Pilot in 1998, and assisted with the late Brian Trubshaw's second book, Concorde - The Inside Story which was published in 2000.

Born in Harrogate on the UK Mainland, she is fiercely proud of her Yorkshire heritage, despite having on the British Channel Island of Jersey since 1981.

Tessa Barrie's writing is always knitted together with a degree of humour. However, feedback on early drafts of her firstborn novel delivered a stark warning...

So, realising less is more when it comes to comic writing, after many agonising rewrites and several lengthy eye-watering edits, her debut novel Just Say was born.

Just Say It was described by Lauren Jones of Turning Another Page, San Antonio, as 'beautiful, poignant, and sensationally apt rendition of what it means to love unconditionally and grow from the past.

Tessa hopes to publish novel number two, a murder mystery spoof, by the end of 2021.
