Barbara H. Milhoan

Barbara H. Milhoan’s first book is "Unconscious Decisions: A Beginner’s Guide to Finding the Hidden Beliefs that Control Your Life and Health." Through her book, speeches and programs she helps individuals find their own personal path to good health. She incorporates her training as a certified facilitator of Bob Proctor’s Thinking Into Results program to aid others in uncovering the internal programs or beliefs that are affecting their health and may be stifling their personal and professional success. In her late fifties Barbara was unexpectedly introduced to the world of metaphysics and became passionate about understanding how the mind works. Her new-found knowledge was put to the test in 2014 when she was diagnosed with melanoma and had to face a childhood belief about cancer. Barbara’s life experience is as varied as those she teaches, and readers finds it easy to connect with her conversational style of writing. Her journey has incorporated an unusual series of jobs including positions at two State universities; the director of a large festival with international ties, and as an advertising sales executive. She obtained the required FINRA licenses and became a financial advisor at the age of 42 and spent 20 years in the securities industry. As a “baby boomer,” she is especially attuned to the common misperceptions surrounding the aging process. With her high energy and good health, Barbara debunks the negative picture that is held by most of society. She assists others who feel that it’s too late in life to pursue dreams, restore health, or enhance their financial situation.
