R Joseph Maas

R Joseph Maas started life in that hazy, undefinable era at the sunset of Gen X and the rise of the oft maligned Millenial generation. His childhood was defined by moves from his birthplace to the Midwest and back to the mountainous regions of Colorado. He was raised on Star Trek and the stories and books of Philip K Dick. He has been writing since he was in elementary school, but was first published shortly after the birth of his daughter, who claims to be his biggest fan. His stories most often fall within the genres of science fiction and horror or a blend of the two, though an autobiographical story holds a particularly precious place in his heart. At present, he is working on a short story collection.
