Jim Price is a serial tech entrepreneur and business professor. For several years, he's held a position on the entrepreneurial studies faculty at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, where he also serves as entrepreneur in residence at the Zell Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies.
Over the past 2+ decades, Jim has launched and led - as CEO/founder/chairman - multiple tech-enabled startups, and has had the good fortune of having been part of two successful company sales and an IPO. He continues to serve as an advisor and board member to multiple startups while also consulting for Global 2000 companies on the successful launch of internal tech startups and spinouts.
A Stanford MBA, father of two, and lifelong musician, Jim has lived on both coasts but now happily resides in the college town and vibrantly entrepreneurial community of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He describes startup variety as his brain food, mentoring as his golf, and coffee-shop chaos as his peace.
