Micma

Micma was raised in Nettleton, Mo with her four brothers. Though she moved away for a few years, she returned to her hometown to raise her own kids. She married her husband, who also grew up in Nettleton, in 2002. Micma opened a hair/tanning salon in 1994, which she still operates. Her interests include writing, riding ATV's, woodworking, crocheting, and learning the history of her hometown, Nettleton. She is a mother of three and a grandmother of seven.

Micma wrote her first series of books, Cousin Cove, as Christmas and birthday presents for her grandkids. Her second series, The Kids of Nettleton, gives readers insights about the kids who grew up in Nettleton. The first book in the series, School or Pappy? Leon's dilemma, is set in 1949 when her father, the first generation of her family to grow up in Nettleton, was six-years-old.
