Lisa Richman

Science fiction, aviation, and fast-paced thrillers are my jam.

I love reading them. Even more, I love writing them.

My stories draw upon years spent working with radiation physics and flying single-engine aircraft.

Years spent behind the lens of a camera as a director/producer taught me how to hone those stories into a gripping, compelling tale.

All this makes for a bit of an eclectic home life, I'll admit. I have a geiger counter in my kitchen, avionics for bookends, and an antique, meter-tall precision barometer in the foyer.

We're a family of pilots, physicists, and engineers, and there's usually an experiment either in process or in pieces, scattered around the house.

And usually a cat on my lap as I write.

I love spinning tales of intrigue set in the distant future on faraway worlds. And, while all hard science fiction must include that leap into the unknown, I work hard to ground them as much as possible on scientific theories and observations as we know them today.

If you like hard SF with a heavy dose of suspense and intrigue, you've come to the right place.
