Lisa is an author of simple stories that are unique and come straight from the heart. She has loved writing since she could hold a pen. She has an unusual life that has provided a mountain of material to write about. Lisa was destined to live her life in a wheel chair due to congenital deformities but she defied specialists and all odds and walked . She still enjoys walking around in this incredible world. She grew up in a sleepy seaside village on Australia's east coast but life changed dramatically when she left her sanctuary. She has had numerous occupations but her great love was teaching.During her career as a primary school teacher, Lisa was passionate about instilling creativity and a love of writing into her pupils, especially refugee children. Lisa opted for an early retirement,so that she could focus on her own writing. She has had poems and short stories published online. All of her writing takes her readers to unexpected places. Her debut book is no exception.
