Milan 1947. What a start! Same year as Paul Auster, Tom Clancy, Salman Rushdie, Paulo Coelho and Stephen King. At the time, however, I still had not decided what to do with my life. I lost sight of my most famous peers almost immediately. While they already sold books, thirty-seven years in multinational companies, I did. In the meantime, I read. I read a lot. Between a book and the other I also married and after a couple of years lived in California, I moved to Brianza where I still live. Why did it take me so long? I spent a lifetime to experience the emotions in person and know the characters that populate my stories now. In what I write, I always try to show the sincere taste of testimony. Great stories change the world. But it is with the small everyday events that people have to confront.
