Shannon Baker Richardson

Author, Shannon Richardson is the national best-selling author of Deadly Deception, Blood Moon: The Casino Murders, and Yellow Rose of Texas: The Real Story. She has also produced two movies: Deadly Deception and The Lights. Shannon currently lives in Washington state where she enjoys gardening, quilting, and walks on the beach. Shannon is the mother of three, and originally wrote this story to cheer her ailing daughter.

Illustrator, Debra Power just retired from teaching chemistry in northern California. She has also taught Environmental Science, Earth Science, Math, Physics and technology classes. Teaching Environmental Science for eight years reinforced her passion for encouraging young people to become stewards of the environment. This is Debra's first publication with hand-drawn illustrations.
