A.S Hicks

My name is A.S.Hicks, and I am a college graduate with a BA in history and a minor in education. I am currently a Public Administration graduate student with dreams bigger than I can put into words. Long story short, one of my many goals and dreams in life involve me publishing a book before I turn 25. I never had a clear idea what I wanted to write about, but I knew I wanted to write one. The purpose of the book is to reach out to many types of people. If I make a change in even ONE person’s life with this book; my job will be done.

I would not label myself as a writer although I do love doing it in my spare time. (Sometimes) My book is written exactly how I talk in real life. No perfect grammar or fancy words; I never say pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis or antidisestablishmentarianism in real life so I refuse to say them in my book. I would descibe my book as authentic. It’s comical to me, because I always complained about writing measly 10 page papers during my undergrad years and here I am on my summer break VOLUNTARILY writing a novel with 150+ pages(ouch). Why am I doing this? You'll have to read the book to find out.
