Ira Noveck

Born and raised in New York, Ira Noveck's undergraduate studies (Binghamton, 1984) led to a career devoted to psychological research, with a focus on human reasoning, communication, development, and language. Noveck received his Masters and PhD in Experimental Psychology from NYU, before moving on to post-docs in Paris, Minneapolis, and Montreal and a teaching position at the Université de Grenoble. After 20 years at the Institut des Sciences Cognitives-Marc Jeannerod in Lyon, he is currently in Paris at the Laboratoire de Linguistique Formelle, which operates under the auspices of the CNRS (Le Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and the Université de Paris.
