John Yera

Born in Puerto Rico, raised in the rough and tumble Lower East Side of New York City. Fluent in Spanish and married since 1988. I have three children and two beautiful grand-children. Graduate of John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York with Bachelors Degree magna cum laude in Criminal Justice and Liberty University Seminary in Lynchburg, VA with a Master’s degree in Biblical studies. Ordained in 2013 to the Gospel Ministry and serving as associate pastor and chaplain of the local jail. currently living in beautiful horse country of Loudoun County in Northern Virginia. Retired Senior Special Agent from the United States Customs Service/Department of Homeland Security with over 25 years of Law Enforcement experience.
