Alejandra Valverde

Alejandra Valverde, a Colombian anthropologist and archaeologist, first visit Peru in 2006 to carry out research in the Cordillera Blanca; this became the inspiration for he to write children's literature.

Later, in 2010, she decided to settle and work in Peru, and has been able to comine research, teaching and writing. Her first children's story, entitled "Mallqui mi amiga la mummy" (“Malqui, my friend the mummy”), was presented at the 2016 International Book Fair in Lima. Alejandra is currently a professor at differents universities in Lima, where she teaches courses on history, anthropology and cultural heritage.
