Sapna Kekre ( Shivani)

Born in the small town of Ujjain, Sapna accredits her kind and helpful nature to the spiritual community she grew up in. Amongst the hustle and bustle of a very sociable family, Sapna found her path in the bold decision to move to Goa to pursue her further studies in Management, which in those days was an unconventional move for a young girl from her town.

Her extremely passionate nature didn't stop her there, and Sapna went on to do everything from being a marketing professional, professor, social worker, dancer and choreographer to planning events, teaching cooking, being a professional tarot card reader, and now a poet. Throughout her life, Sapna has explored places around the globe, and currently resides in Malaysia.

From this plethora of experiences, Sapna's strong sense of emotion and understanding of the life's woes and joys found a way to resonate within her poetry. A piece of these experiences can be found in her raw and heartwarming, yet simple, debut book "Oas ki boondein".
