Sai Mecca

Sai Mecca has been making up stories since she could hold a pencil, and hasn’t stopped since.

These days, she moves through the world as Meccaa, a Hoodoo practitioner, self-published author, diviner, and proud owner of CuratedSOUF. She writes Hoodoo/Urban and Black Speculative Fiction that blends Hoodoo with the real, rooted in ancestral wisdom, Southern traditions, and ancestral veneration.

Whether she’s writing books, flipping over tarot cards or making incense, it’s all storytelling. It’s all conjure.

You can usually find her at the altar, praying, pouring libations, or scribbling down dialogue that showed up uninvited.
