Jo Macgregor

Jo Macgregor is the author of the gripping, unpredictable crime mysteries The First Time I Died, The First Time I Fell, The First Time I Hunted, The First Time I Knocked, and Dark Whispers.

When not writing, Macgregor is a psychologist in private practice where she works with all kinds of clients, and she brings her twenty-five years of experience as a therapist to her writing, creating deeper characters and realistic psychological reactions. She started her professional life as a high school English teacher and also writes young adult fiction under the name Joanne Macgregor and non-fiction (psychological self-help) under the name J. Macgregor.

She lives in a small, beautiful seaside town, is in love with nature and chilies, and despairs of ever properly training her charm-monster of a beagle!
