Keischa Pruden hails from Eastern North Carolina. She and her husband, Paul, have been married for over 25 years and have two sons, Aaron and Bryant. Mrs. Pruden has always had a love for reading and writing that dates back to elementary school. By the time she entered college, she was writing for the school paper as well as writing and producing plays for the theater department (drama was her minor!).
Following her passion of helping others, she became a psychotherapist, but never lost her love of writing. Mrs. Pruden continued journaling throughout her young adult years. When Facebook was introduced to the masses, she saw the social media platform as a way to encourage others to, as she often says, "Keep Pressing". In 2014, following the prompting of a friend, Keischa began to gather her Facebook posts and created her first published work, a daily devotional, Walking With Moo and Other Adventures of Faith, which was published in 2018. She shares life lessons she has learned through walking with her youngest son, nicknamed Moo, as well as through working in her flowerbeds.
"KP", as Keischa is called by friends and family, recently published her first children's book, Aaron and Me: Our Journey on the spectrum. This work shares with readers what life is like for her sons Aaron and Bryant, through Bryant's point of view. Aaron is on the autism spectrum, but that doesn't keep him from being a great big brother.
"My hope is that everything I publish is an inspiration to others to always have faith and never give up."
