Rev. Richard Anton Bolland
Born a native Californian in 1946, Rev. Richard Bolland grew up in the Golden State when it was still Golden. Married to his wife Linda in 1970, the Lord added to their family a daughter Ericka Dawn in 1973. Bolland was a member of the first graduating class of Thousand Oaks High School, Thousand Oaks, CA. and obtained a BSed. degree from Concordia University, Seward, NE. After serving as an Information Specialist (Newspaper Reporter) in the U.S. Army, he enrolled at St. Cloud State University, he earned an MS in educational administration and served as a public school administrator in Nashua, MT, and Lockwood, MT, before entering Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, IN., where he received his Mdiv.
Serving congregations in Montana, Missouri, Arizona, and Colorado, he retired in 2011. He currently lives in Pagosa Springs, CO, where he writes and enjoys life in the Colorado high country with his wife of more than 50 years.
