Amy LaBossiere

Amy LaBossiere is a writer, mixed media artist, creative consultant, and peer guide whose work explores creativity, recovery, grief, resilience, and the ongoing practice of building a meaningful life.

She is the author of Finding Still Waters: The Art of Conscious Recovery, which draws from her lived experience and explores recovery as a creative, evolving practice rooted in awareness, connection, and personal growth.

Amy is also the author and curator of Tao LaBossière Illustrated: Punny Word Play – Selected Works, a celebration of the art, humor, and creative legacy of her late husband, artist Tao LaBossière. The book brings together selected works from his expansive career and reflects Amy’s continuing commitment to preserving and sharing his artistic legacy.

Amy holds a Master of Arts in Conscious Evolution and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts. Her writing and visual art are deeply connected, often examining creativity, change, loss, identity, and transformation. Her work has been exhibited throughout Connecticut, and she has received recognition for her writing and mixed media artwork.

Based in Hartford, Connecticut, Amy continues to write, make art, support creative communities, and explore what it means to live fully through life’s many chapters.
