Matthew Wilson

Matthew Wilson, PhD FRHistS (they/ he) is a historian of ideas who specializes in critical theories of place studies. They are the author of 'Moralising Space: the Utopian Urbanism of the British Positivists, 1855–1920' (2018) and 'Richard Congreve: Positivist Politics, the Victorian Press, and the British Empire' (2021), and co-editor of 'Understanding Site in Design Pedagogy' (2022).
