Kate Turner (1973-) was born in Melbourne, Australia and moved to the UK as a teenager. Health and nutrition were very much part of her upbringing and she pursued this interest with a degree and professional practice in health sciences. The arrival of children and family life changed an interest into a passion as bringing up kids came with the responsibility to feed them well and reflect on the state of the planet they would inherit.
These days Kate and her family love growing food on their allotment, foraging in the fields and woods near their home in West Sussex and enjoy the simple things in life - friends, homegrown fruit & veg and good health. Kate regularly contributes to national publications as a food and lifestyle writer, creates recipes, shares menu plans, aims to live sustainably and loves writing books.
