Joseph Ponnoly

JOSEPH PONNOLY was born in Kerala (India). After completing his Masters in Physics (Electronics) he worked with Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) India from 1976 to 1998 as a white-collar crime investigator and doubled as a technology professional. In 1998 he started his own software consulting company in New Delhi (India) and migrated to the USA in 2000. Since then he has been working with various MNCs (multi-national corporations) in USA as an information security and risk management professional.

He is an IT professional and data scientist and works as an independent technology and management consultant in cyber security.

His primary interests are emerging technologies, management and leadership.

His first book 'Gateway to the Quantum Age' deals with emerging disruptive technologies that shape the globally emerging knowledge-based digital economies, and their social and economic impact. He advocates humanizing technology. He earned doctorate in business administration from Grand Canyon University, Phoenix AZ, USA for his research on cyber disasters.
