Neil Martin

Neil Martin is a frequent writer of newsletters and comedic journals. Trouble Follows is his first novel. The book relies on his experiences growing up and after college as a biographic profile for the protagonist Nick. His experiences in writing the book were themselves comedic, at least to others. He has 3500 hours as a private pilot and many more hours cruising Coquette, his 50' Beneteau sailboat with his wife Myrna.

Neil and Myrna loved cruising the Bahamas', Mexico, and the Pacific Northwest by boat. Flying took them all over the country and to the tip of Baja Calfornia. Their favorite designations included Meling Ranch and Palmilla in Baja and Yosemite in the U.S. He can tell a few hair-raising stories about his experiences flying but he had no accidents unless you count the time his father solo crashed Neil's Cessna 210. Neil has had a lifelong fascination with the Mafia accounts for the creation of the non-existent Mexifia in San Diego. He is a member of the San Diego Yacht Club and traveled to the site of the finish of the San Diego to Puerto Vallarta sailboat race, but not as a racer, thank goodness.
