Moumita Adhikary

Moumita Adhikary was born on 1981. Right now she lives in Kolkata with her husband and son in a joint family. She loves to read books. Art and literature had always been a passion from the beginning. She belongs to a family of medical professionals and therefore was also intersted in building up a carrier in Medicine. Passing M.B.B.S. and M.D.(Microbiology) was not a matter of joke, where she had to burn her midnight lamps. Therefore, the process of writing got drowned somewhere in the middle of huge volumes of medical books. It was just after her six years of job in a Government Medical College, as a faculty, Assistant Professor at Kolkata, West Bengal, that she could think of writing again. She thought of writing fictions, but because of lack of time, it never materialized until now. It was during the process of writing and publishing her research articles in medical journals, that she realised that she had to write something else, other than her research works. It was then that she started writing a novel named 'Breaks! Loved-up!'. Part of the characters and facts of this novel are related to her own life, the rest was a virtual creation of her imagination which she wished to have in her life.
