I love to travel. I love to photograph interesting people and places. Most of all, I love to share the joys of learning with young people. As a retired teacher, I am privileged to tutor my son's third grade math students, and am especially filled with joy when I help English language learners.

It's important for children to experience worlds outside their hometowns, but not all are able to do that. I combined my passions for travel, photography, learning, and children into my series of I LOVE books. The first was I LOVE AFRICA. Coming soon is I LOVE ISRAEL. When I'm not traveling, writing, or tutoring, I enjoy teaching Bible study classes, exploring The Great Smoky Mountains, and having fun with my husband Joe, our three sons, and their families.

My seven grandchildren inspired me to create these books, and I hope children all over the world enjoy reading them and looking at the pictures.
