Dave Mitchner was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1980. His bedtime stories as a baby included such thrilling reading as "Page On Wills." At two years old was able to describe the Rule Against Perpetuities to one of his father's law professors who was nice enough to look after him while his father was studying for finals. Being raised in the home and office of a small town attorney lead Mitchner to have a particular insight into the world. His father was the Public Defender for a three county circuit for the majority of Mitchner's youth, and his mother was the office manager and lead paralegal. This combined with spending lots of time on his grandfather's cattle operation gives him a unique view of the world.
Writing across genres, Mitchner writes fantasy, horror and mystery, while focusing on the demons that live within each of us, many based on real life experiences.
