Kenneth J Matthews

Kenneth J Matthews is a graduate MA of screenwriting, having recently turned to writing novels. His formative years (9-15 years of age) were spent at the Duke of Yorks Royal Military School in Dover, Kent, UK.

At the age of sixteen he was a small time rock-n-roll star in a band called Johnny and the Falcons, being invited to join a group called Dean Ford and the Gaylords in Glasgow, who later went on to become “Marmalade”. This was an offer he declined when other members of his group were not offered a place. This is cause for regret on his part to this day…

Since the heady days of the 1960’s, his jobs have been many and varied. From being a ‘Tunnel Tiger’ working on the development of a Hydro-electric power station at Loch Awe in Scotland, UK, to being a coordinator at a College for Further Education.

At the end of his musical career, he became a bit-part, and character actor in film and television, before turning his hand to writing novels.

His books reflect his diverse experience of life, they are:

Lesser Expectations

The Santa Stone

One Man’s Fault

The Beholden

Lethal Transmission
