I was born with cerebral palsy and became a physician with a specialty of Rehabilitation Medicine. My book reviews keys that helped me and will help others.

My dad and his friends were doctors so I thought all black men were doctors. So I became a doctor.

What a loving and patient and loving mother I was blessed to have. I wore leg braces and one day I fell down and all of the girls ran over to see if I was hurt so I fell everyday.

Patients , doctors and nurses often insulted my handwriting. They said it was due to me being a doctor but it was due to my cerebral palsy. Now I share my story with children and adults.
