Priyanka Chatterjee

Priyanka was born in northern India. Because of her father's job, the family moved to small towns of India often. Her first spark of spirituality came from the words of Conversations with God. Even at the age of 11, the words made perfect sense to her.

She moved to the US for graduate studies right around the time the 2008 financial crisis was developing. She had to develop unique skills to earn an employment to pay back her student loans in India home while no one was hiring immigrants. The times and its impact on her inspired a lot of her writing.

Since making through the financial crisis and then achieving her professional and personal goals she set in her childghood, she realized that the only way to honor life is to take time out to listen to the silence within her. Her writing has been a direct consequence of this change as words seem to stream into consciousness from time to time - that’s why she keeps a notepad handy. A lot of her writing happens in proses and poems in weird pockets of time.

She has been a consultant in the digital marketing space for many years and the varied client experiences provide fodder to her writing. Her favorite things to write about are about life and waves of wisdom that small incidents and experiences bring about. She has been writing about her perspectives on her blog as well as article pieces. Her foray into book writing has been an organic progression from her journal writing days when she was all of 10. She hopes to keep them coming!
