Carlos Aguila was born in Brooklyn, New York, and is a graduate of Norwich University. He is of Dominican and Cuban descent and worked on Wall Street for many years, achieving the rank of Vice President at a major financial institution, before electing to shift gears and developing a series of health food stores. What I found most difficult in the writing of this book was coming to grips with the realization that compared to professional wordsmiths, I wasn’t a competent writer. So over the past few years, I spent an inordinate amount of time improving my craft and micro-editing the manuscript. Hopefully, that effort has borne fruit.
Many years ago I attended college and witnessed many of my friends get expelled. It always stuck in my craw. This book is in honor of those good people.
