Alexander Prokhorov

Alexander Prokhorov is a co-author (with Elena Prokhorova) of Film and Television Genres of the Late Soviet Era (2017) and the editor of Springtime for Soviet Cinema: Re/viewing the 1960s (Pittsburgh Film Symposium, 2001). He co-edited Cinemasaurus: Russian Film in Contemporary Context (with Nancy Condee and Elena Prokhorova 2020). His articles, reviews, and interviews have been published in the Journal of Film and Video, Russian Review, Slavic Review, Slavic and East European Journal, Studies in Russian and Soviet Cinema, Kinokultura, Art of Cinema (Iskusstvo kino), The Spectator, and Wiener Slawistische Almanach.
