Michelle Neyland, author of "A Nursing Love Poem," is thrilled to contribute to the small yet growing collection of children's books honoring and celebrating the gift of nursing.

Michelle had no idea before she became a mother how profoundly life-affirming, empowering, and nourishing the breastfeeding relationship could be, for both mother and child. It inspired her to write "A Nursing Love Poem," a rhyming children's book. This sweet and colorful story is a celebration of the nursing relationship. It arose from poems she wrote and sentiments she felt over the first two years of her son's life.

In addition to writing, Michelle has worked as a communicator for the federal government, become certified as a yoga teacher and wellness coach, and gotten way too excited about Myers-Briggs types.
