Leonard Mead

Leonard Mead was born in Cape Town in 1968 and is the father of four amazing children. He and his partner, Melissa, have unschooled them since they were old enough to know. Leonard is extremely proud that they are intelligent, open-minded, courageous, free-thinking and capable individuals. The family lives in New Zealand and his books are inspired by an exceptionally deep love of the sea which Leonard has shared and helped instill in the children at an early age in South Africa. He loves reading, cooking, physical exercise, outdoor pursuits of all kind, as well as the dynamics of entrepreneurial leadership, chaos theories and human beings' responses to change.
