Candice Conner

An avid reader of fairy tales, I take turns with my seven and four-year-old on who plays the villain. Evil cackles have been mastered by all. My family and I love exploring any sort of watery, magical place be it beaches, swamps, rivers, or even mud puddles.

I'm an officer for the Mobile Writers' Guild and a PAL member of SCBWI. My picture book Sassafras and her Teeny, Tiny Tail is forthcoming from MacLaren-Cochrane Publishing in 2019. I have work published in Babybug Magazine, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and online at Mothers Always Write, Mamalode, and The Good Mother Project.
