Jo Page

My 2016 book, Preaching in My Yes Dress (SUNY Press) was a finalist for the 2017 Chautauqua prize. Margot Livesey describes it as " all the things you hope a good memoir will be: profound, witty, deeply serious, wonderfully original, and utterly absorbing. Page is a remarkably intimate writer and this book offers the best kind of companionship.”

I have published in a number of journals and was a finalist in the 2009 Hunger Mountain Creative Non-fiction Contest. I am a colunist for the Albany, New York Times Union and a former Writer-in-Residence at the New York State Writers Institute, I hold an MFA in writing from the University of Virginia.
