Many people gave up on me when I spent a decade working in warehouses and factories after high school. But they didn’t see the burning desire within me. As I approached my 31st birthday, I returned to college but was unsatisfied with just a B.S.. Quickly earning an M.A. and then a Ph.D., I taught 23 undergraduate and graduate courses in Communication, Leadership, and Management over the next ten years. I realized there was another level to reach, so I left academia to start my own executive coaching and consulting business. During this time, I began writing. Since 2007, I have written nearly 50 books, several plays, online courses, and I have started making documentaries and movies.

Throughout my journey, I developed a unique perspective on living and working. I perceive both practical and theoretical aspects with a multi-layered mindset that values ideas from both sides of controversies and approaches. Readers may be surprised if you try to pigeonhole me into a single perspective.
