Andrew Johnson CPA

Andrew Johnson, CPA has focused his entire career on state and local tax issues. As a graduate of BYU with a Masters Degree in Accounting, he began his career with Arthur Andersen in Dallas, Texas where he rose to the rank of Tax Manager in the Salt Group. In 1992, he and Jerry Peisner left the firm to found Peisner Johnson & Company, LLP, where Andy served as the managing partner for many years. He is a frequent speaker to accountants on state tax topics. Over the last few years, over 20,000 CPA’s have listened to him speak. He is the author of the AICPA’s course on multistate income taxation. Andy was born in New York, and grew up on the east coast. He and his wife Diane are the parents of 8 children, including 6 boys and 2 girls. They raised their children on a cattle ranch in Texas where they lived for 27 years. They now live and work in sunny, St. George Utah, the home of Zion’s National Park.
