Shane Wilker

Shane Wilker was born in 1956 on a cattle ranch in Grace, Idaho. He graduated from Grace High School in 1974 where he enjoyed playing football, basketball, track and field, and rodeo. In his senior year, he was voted Student Body Vice-President and Outstanding Athlete. Shane has always had an incredible memory. In high school, he knew all his friends’ phone and license plate numbers.

Shane attended the College of South Eastern Idaho (CSI) in Twin Falls, where he completed a two-year course in Business Management. He moved to Pocatello in the fall of 1976 to play basketball for the Idaho State University Junior Varsity, and to continue his education.

Shane decided to take a job at the John Deere Dealership in American Falls in the summer on 1977. Shane’s amazing memory came in quite handy at his new job and helped launch what turned into a successful career.

Shane currently enjoys playing basketball, rodeo, and golf. His biggest passions are spending time with his family, helping others, and keeping his Angel Shannon’s memory alive.
